I thought I would spend the day exploring the city itself.
Can’t believe how much activity there is considering the ever-present, large, looming, ominous, scary-looking, un-missable, foreboding rock that is hovering just above the city.
The city is a bit confusing with stairs up and down and bridges to cross over to more stairs. The stairs to Vivec’s palace were the longest in the city. I thought to myself “that’s a lot of stairs Poeberry.” Not to be put off I climbed to the top. About half-way up I began to wonder if the water terrace’s either side were in case visitors to Vivec got hot or thirsty and they could jump in to cool off.
I met a couple of guards at the top. They seemed friendly enough, very dedicated too.
Having decided not to jump into one of the water balconies, I went back down the stairs and explored the on-going building work. Not sure I would want to be expanding a city with a giant rock hanging over it. Did I mention that spooky looking rock in the sky? Gives me the willies.
Boy, have all the stairs worn me out…..yawn!
